Interjection ను మనసులోని భావాలను తెలియచేసే భాషాభాగం అనుకోవచ్చు. ఇది సంతోషాన్ని, బాధను, ఆశ్చర్యాన్ని ఇంకా ఇలాంటి అనుభూతులను తెలియచేస్తుంది. అంటే interjection ను మనసులోని అనుభూతులను తెలియచేయటానికి తెలియచేసే పదం అనుకోవచ్చు. ఆనందం, కోపం, బాధ, విచారం, ఆశ్చర్యం వంటి భావాలను ఈ పదాలను ఉపయోగించి తెలియచేయవచ్చు. వాక్యంలో ఈ పదాలు ఉన్నాయంటే మనసులోని ఏదో ఒక భావం అక్కడ ఉన్నట్లే. ఒకరకంగా దీనిని భావోద్వేగాలను తెలియచేయటానికి ఉపయోగించే పదం అనుకోవచ్చు. 

మిగిలిన parts of speech లాగే వీటిలో కూడా కొన్ని రకాలు ఉన్నాయి. Interjection for joy, interjection for surprise, interjection for greeting, interjection for approval, interjection for sorrow and interjection for attention.
Interjection for Joy: ఏదైనా ఆనందం, సంతోషం కలిగినప్పుడు interjection for joy ను వాడతారు. హఠాత్తుగా సంతోషం కలిగినా కూడా వీటిని వాడి తెలియచేస్తారు. ‘Wow’ ను సాధారణంగా ఏదైనా ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగే విషయాలకు వాడుతున్నప్పటికీ, అనుకోకుండా ఆనందం కలిగించిన విషయాలకు కూడా వాడటం జరుగుతుంది. 

Ex:  hurrah or hurray, wow, yahoo etc.

వీటిలో ‘hurrah’ ను ఎక్కువగా ఏదైనా పని సఫలం అయినప్పుడు, విజయవంతం అయినప్పుడు వాడతారు. 

Example sentence:

Hurrarh! We won the cricket match.

Interjection for Surprise: ఏదైనా విషయం ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగించినప్పుడు interjection for surprise ను వాడతారు. ఏదైనా విషయం అబ్బురపరిచినా, వింత గొలిపినా కూడా దీనిని వాడతారు. 

Ex:  wow, ah, oh etc.

Example sentences:

Wow! You are looking gorgeous.

Ah! I got a new job.

Interjection for Greeting: Interjection for greeting ను పలకరింపుకు లేదా ఎదుటివారిని greet చేయటానికి వాడతారు. 

Ex:  hello, hi, hey etc.

Example sentences:

Hello! This is Ravi.

Hey! It is very glad to meet you.

Interjection for Approval: Interjection for approval ను ఏదైనా విషయానికి సంబంధించిన ఆమోదాన్ని తెలియచేయటానికి లేదా ఎవరికైనా, దేనికైనా మద్దుతును తెలియచేయటానికి వాడతారు. ఎవరినైనా మెచ్చుకునేటప్పుడు కూడా దీనిని వాడతారు.

Ex:  excellent, bravo, well done, brilliant etc.

Example sentences:

Well done! You achieved first rank.

Bravo! You passed the Prelims Exam.

Interjection for Sorrow: Interjection for sorrow ను ఏదైనా బాధ లేదా దుఃఖం కలిగించే విషయం తెలియచేయటానికి వాడతారు. ఇంకా విచారాన్ని, సానుభూతిని తెలియచేయడానికి కూడా దీనిని వాడతారు. అనుకోకుండా ఏదైనా దురదృష్టకర విషయాలు విన్నా, చూసినా, లేక ఎవరికైనా వాటి గురించి చెప్తున్నా కూడా ఈ interjection ను వాడతారు. 

Ex:  alas, ouch, ah, oh etc.

Example sentences:

Alas! We lost the match.

Ouch! It is very troubling me.

Interjection for Attention: Interjection for attention ను ఎవరి దృష్టిని అయినా ఏదైనా విషయం మీద ఉంచటానికి లేదా attention ను draw చేయటానికి వాడతారు. అలాగే ఎవరినైనా పిలవటానికి కూడా దీనిని వాడతారు. 

Ex:  look, listen, behold, hush etc.

Example sentences:

Ex: Look! You are talking very proud.

Behold! Something is strange in your file.
